Job summary

Archer Recruitment seeks a hands-on engineer to take ownership of the technical direction of a mission-critical investment platform used across trading, risk, analytics and investment operations. You will join a global investment management firm on a data-intensive platform where engineering decisions impact critical business operations across multiple asset classes.

This role focuses on C#/.NET, SQL and Python with opportunities to shape architecture, improve standards and tackle performance,

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with C#/.NET and SQL.
• Experience building enterprise-scale, data-intensive applications.
• Experience with Python and/or Azure is beneficial.
• Ability to operate confidently with senior technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience working with complex or legacy environments is advantageous.

• Lead the design and development of scalable .NET solutions across the full development lifecycle.

Take ownership of the technical direction of a mission-critical investment platform used across trading, risk, analytics and investment operations.

You’ll join a global investment management firm, working on a data-intensive platform where engineering decisions have a direct impact on critical business operations across multiple asset classes.

This is a hands-on engineering role with scope to shape architecture, improve engineering standards and solve complex performance, reliability and scalability challenges across C#/.NET, SQL and Python.
