Qualifications

• Must hold a valid PSA license covering DSP.
• Previous work in a bar/club or hospitality setting is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced shifts and late nights.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all health and safety measures at all times.
• Welcome guests as they enter the establishment.
• Check ID and tickets.
• Manage crowds and queues; conduct routine patron searches.
• Address inquiries and special requests to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and vibrant atmosphere; respond to issues.
• Co-operate with Garda, first aiders, and management.
• Collaborate with bartenders, servers, and floor staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle emergencies and de-escalate conflicts.
• Escort patrons out of the venue if necessary.
• Patrol inside and outside the venue.
• Assist with security checks and spills cleanup.

Position Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our friendly team as DSP at our busy late bar. As a crucial part of our dynamic establishment, you'll play a key role in providing exceptional customer experiences by delivering top‑notch service and creating a vibrant atmosphere for our patrons.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all health and safety measures at all times.
• Welcome guests as they enter the establishment.
• Check ID.
• Check tickets.
• Manage crowds and queues.
• Routine searches of patrons on entry.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and comfortable atmosphere, identifying and addressing any potential issues.
• Clean spills, and maintain a clean and tidy environment with routine security checks.
• Patrol inside and outside the venue.
• Watch people's behaviour and deal with conflict.
• Physically intervene and escort people out of the venue, if necessary.
• Deal with emergencies.
• Co‑operate with Garda, first aiders and management.

Team Collaboration

• Work seamlessly with other staff members, including bartenders, servers, and floor staff, to ensure smooth operations.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and managers to relay orders, special requests, and any relevant information.

Cleanliness and Hygiene

• Adhere to proper sanitation and hygiene practices, including handling and disposal of waste, and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure the well‑being of staff and customers.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid PSA License covering DSP.
• Prior experience in a Bar/Club or hospitality setting would be an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle busy shifts with composure.
