Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.

Job Description

Duties

• Maintenance of kitchen area.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Steam clean or hose out bins as required and empty bins when full.
• Clean pots, pans and any other equipment and ensure they are stored correctly and neatly.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is in working order.
• Report any maintenance issues to your team leader.
• Work closely with kitchen management team to ensure compliance with all hygiene and health and safety.
• Keep storeroom organised.
• Unload food deliveries/equipment.
