GLIN HOMES FOR THE ELDERLY LTD operates Clover Field Day Care Centre in Glin, Co. Limerick. We are seeking a reliable cleaner to join our team and support daily operations.
This developmental role requires no previous experience; accredited training will be provided. You will help clean rooms and communal areas, restock supplies, assist with kitchen duties if required, and follow all hygiene and safety procedures. Garda vetting is required.

Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.
Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.

Duties will include:Cleaning and maintaining all rooms and communal areas to a high standardSweeping, vacuuming, washing floorsCleaning windows, worktops, tables and other surfacesDusting and polishing furniture and fittingsCleaning and restocking toiletsMonitoring cleaning products and informing the supervisor when supplies need to be reorderedAssisting with setting up rooms for activities, meetings and community groupsProviding assistance in the kitchen with the daily preparation of meals (only if required)Following all hygiene, food safety and health and safety proceduresCarrying out other reasonable duties as requiredApplicants must provide suitable character references and be prepared to complete the Garda vetting process.This position would suit someone who is dependable, willing to learn and comfortable working as part of a team.
