Evara is seeking a highly organised Document Controller to support document management across one of our high-density projects. This role is central to maintaining accurate, accessible, and compliant project records, being an essential part of the team ensuring documentation is controlled throughout the project lifecycle.
This role is a Full-Time position designed to provide hands‑on experience while working under the guidance of the Design Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain project documents, drawings, correspondence, reports, and technical submissions in line with company and project requirements
- Control the receipt, registration, distribution, and filing of incoming and outgoing documentation
- Ensure all documents are correctly named, stored, version‑controlled, and archived
- Maintain document control registers, trackers, and reporting logs
- Upload, organise, and manage documentation within Procore and other document management systems
- Monitor document workflows to ensure approvals, reviews, and submissions are completed on time
- Issue drawings and revised documents to internal teams, consultants, and subcontractors
- Support project teams in retrieving accurate and up-to‑date records when needed
- Check documents for completeness, formatting, and compliance before distribution
- Assist with the management of requests for information, technical submittals, and project handover documentation
- Prepare regular status reports on document control activities and outstanding items
- Help maintain audit‑ready records in line with internal procedures and client requirements
Key Accountabilities
- Project documentation is accurate, current, and easy for teams to access
- Drawing revisions and key records are distributed promptly and tracked correctly
- Document workflows run smoothly, reducing delays and improving coordination across projects
- Project teams and external stakeholders can rely on clear, consistent, and well‑managed records
- Handover documentation is complete, organised, and delivered to the required standard
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in a Document Controller role within the construction industry
- Strong understanding of document control processes, revision management, and records administration
- Ideally experienced in using Procore for document management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage large volumes of information accurately
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines across multiple projects
- Confident communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of project stakeholders
- Ability to work independently while also supporting a collaborative project team
