Job summary

Sally Europe is recruiting a District Manager to join our Store Operations team, supporting 12 stores across ROI. You will build cross-functional efficiencies to drive sales and profit, align people plans, and act as an ambassador for change.

The role leads high-performing teams, engages stakeholders, and ensures robust processes, cost controls, and inventory standards while nurturing talent and delivering measurable results.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a district/area operational manager within a multi-site retailer.
• Experience delivering plans with both short and long-term objectives within an organisation.
• Demonstrates commerciality and business acumen through business opportunities, maximising sales and profitability.
• Able to communicate effectively, remotely and builds relationships at pace with team and stakeholders.
• Demonstrates resilience and agility in leadership style, adapting to changing business needs.
• Experience leading teams through change and driving engagement in challenging circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead and execute a District Business Plan focusing on sales, operational KPI’s, costs and people.
• Understand the external market and adapt plans to challenge competitors across stores.
• Utilise and analyse business reports to identify ways to maximise district performance and coach managers.
• Understand EBITDA levers and control costs through robust cost management.
• Develop, own and drive the people agenda for the district—engaging, hiring, developing and retaining talent.
• Deliver a clear succession plan for the district while supporting wider territory.
• Identify opportunities for development within the district and across the business.
• Ensure teams are clear on expectations through robust performance management.
