Job summary

Medacs Global Group is recruiting a GP Locum for a 3‑day‑per‑week role in Dublin, with Fridays mandatory and 9am–4pm shifts. This initial 3‑month contract has potential extensions. The position is based mainly at Ballymun Headquarters, with travel to other sites 1–2 days per week; mileage is reimbursed.

HSE indemnity is covered onsite and weekly payments are made every Friday. Fridays will be based at the HSE 10 bedded dementia unit, with other days across intellectual and physical disability

Responsibilities

• Working on a weekly basis, 3 days per week, Fridays required, 9am-4pm shifts with flexible breaks
• 3 month contract with likely extension long-term for suitable GP
• Based mainly at Ballymun Headquarters with travel to other sites 1-2 days per week; mileage reimbursed
• Fridays based primarily at the HSE 10 bedded dementia unit; other days across intellectual and physical disability services

Requirements

Must be actively working as a GP in Ireland for minimum of 4 years or 1 year post IMC GP Spec qualification Intellectual & Physical disability experience desired IMC Specialist Registration desirable but not required Personal Indemnity Cover desirable but not required as HSE site

Job Spec

Working on a weekly basis, 3 days per week, every friday required but flexible on other 2 days 9am-4pm shifts with flexible 30min-1hour lunch breaks, whichever you prefer 3 month contract with likely extension long-term for suitable GP Will be based mainly in Ballymun Headquarters however, will need own vehicle to drive between required site locations 1-2 days per week where mileage will be reimbursed for travel Fridays will be based primarily at the HSE 10 bedded dementia unit with other days varying across other intellectual and physical disability services
