Job summary

Clarity Locums are seeking a Locum Part Time GP for a modern private healthcare clinic in Cavan. You will deliver comprehensive GP services, supported by a large team across clinical and admin roles, ensuring high standards of care and governance.

The role offers 3–4 days per week, flexibility in shifts, and a patient-centred approach. IMC registration is required, with ICGP training as a strong advantage, in Ireland.

Qualifications

• IMC registration in good standing is required.
• ICGP training is a strong plus.
• Strong clinical knowledge across a broad range of presentations is expected.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centred approach are essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Up-to-date knowledge of Irish clinical guidelines and best practice is necessary.
• Right to work in Ireland.
• Experience in clinical governance and quality improvement is desirable.
• Experience using digital health platforms would be advantageous.
• Both technical and professional expertise are valued.
• Minimum 2 years face-to-face GP experience in Irish healthcare is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out all GP services.
• Supported by a large team of experienced GPs, nurses, admin staff and a strong governance structure.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients in line with best clinical practice.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

About the role:
