Job summary

Swim Ireland, the National Governing Body for swimming on the island of Ireland, is recruiting a Disability Pathway Coach. Reporting to the National Para Swimming Head Coach, you will support the development and delivery of pathways for swimmers with a disability and integrate para swimming into Swim Ireland.

The role requires a relevant qualification, a full driving license, and willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in a similar role or in sport organisations.
• Third level qualification required; coaching qualification is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, admin and people skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of the Disability Pathway programme with clubs and partners.
• Collaborate with Education, Participation and club support teams to promote inclusion.
• Engage with disability organisations to develop new pathways and opportunities.
• Provide club visits, updates and communications to stakeholders.
• Assist with safeguarding and ensure compliance across programmes.
