Job summary

West Limerick Sports Complex is seeking Sports Inclusion Attendants to help deliver inclusive, accessible swimming and activity programmes for people with disabilities and those from disadvantaged areas.

The role supports the CSP-funded services under the CSP and is offered on a fixed-term contract for 18 months, with potential extension up to 5 years. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required as the complex operates 7 days a week.

Qualifications

• Experience in sports/disability sector is beneficial.
• Qualifications in adapted physical activity, health promotion or related discipline are advantageous.
• Knowledge of disability equality issues and barriers to participation is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist CSP Supervisor & Manager with organising and delivering CSP outputs.
• Deliver inclusive swimming and physical activity programs and classes.
• Provide feedback to improve activities for accessibility and inclusion.
• Assist with client form filling and CSP-related administration.
• Record and analyze participation levels for CSP-funded services.
• Drive and develop CSP-funded service objectives to enhance local participation.
