Job summary

Avendra International is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Director to lead Facilities Management, Non-Food, and Indirect spend across managed services. This senior role owns category strategy, supplier management, negotiations, governance and team leadership in a hybrid Dublin environment.

You’ll influence senior stakeholders, drive savings, develop high‑performing teams and shape regional sourcing strategies while partnering with international colleagues and clients.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management.
• Strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, contract management, and indirect spend categories.
• Experience leading and developing procurement teams.
• Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to analyze data, manage budgets, and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies across Facilities Management, Non-Food, and Indirect procurement portfolios.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier selection processes, tendering activities, and contract negotiations.
• Manage category spend, savings delivery, commercial risk, and procurement performance metrics.
• Establish and maintain high-performing supplier relationships while improving service, quality, and value.
• Ensure procurement activity complies with governance, policy, ethical, and contractual requirements.
• Partner with senior stakeholders, clients, and operational teams to support business objectives and sourcing decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement through market benchmarking, innovation, and procurement best practice.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of procurement professionals to achieve departmental goals.

Strategic Sourcing Director, Facilities Management, Non-Food & Indirect

Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid) | Travel across Ireland and occasionally the UK/internationally as required

• Strong communication, relationship-building, and leadership capabilities.

Nice to have

• Degree qualification in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
• CIPS qualification or equivalent procurement accreditation.
