Job summary

Medtronic plc, a global healthcare technology leader, is seeking an Engineering Director to shape and execute Operations strategy across new product development and lifecycle phases in Ireland. You will lead cross-functional teams, ensure quality, cost, and schedule goals, and drive scalable manufacturing processes for new product launches.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and 10+ years' relevant experience, including 7+ years in management.

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience.
Mastery level knowledge in a technical or professional discipline with broad understanding of other areas within the job function.
Strategic leadership to plan and execute operations strategy across new product development and lifecycle stages.

Responsibilities

Plan, direct and implement operations strategy to deliver a scalable supply chain for new products.
Lead Core Team Ops Representatives (CTORs) to build the operations strategy for new products.
Direct the development of scalable manufacturing processes for new product development.
