Aircraft Leasing | Director of Procurement

We are supporting an established aircraft leasing platform in the search for a Procurement Director to join its asset management function.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced aviation procurement professional to lead strategic sourcing, supplier management and supply chain initiatives supporting a broad range of technical and operational programmes.

• Lead sourcing and procurement activities across a range of aviation-related products and services.
• Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships, including commercial negotiations and performance reviews.
• Support technical and operational teams with procurement requirements across ongoing projects and transactions.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure effective delivery of key products and services.
• Lead supply chain initiatives focused on improving availability, cost performance and service delivery.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen procurement processes, supplier performance and commercial outcomes.

Requirements

• Strong procurement, sourcing or supply chain experience within aviation, aerospace, an airline, MRO or a related technical environment.
• Good understanding of aviation technical requirements and supplier markets.
• Proven experience negotiating commercial agreements and managing supplier relationships.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience using procurement, ERP or supply chain systems within a technical environment.
