Job summary

Dublin City Council Culture Company is recruiting a Director of Operations, a permanent senior role within the Leadership Team, reporting to the Chief Executive. The Director will lead Operations across visitor services, HR, staff services and facilities, delivering strategic improvements and ensuring compliance while coordinating with suppliers and cross‑functional teams.

The role is based at our Dublin locations with regular on‑site attendance and possible hybrid working.

Qualifications

Three to five years in senior management in an operations role.
Proven experience delivering multiple operational functions in a busy environment.
Experience in line management of staff.
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver projects across functions.
Strong strategic planning with track record of operational improvements.
Collaborative approach across teams to advance the company strategy.
Detail-oriented with focus on compliance and governance.

Responsibilities

Lead the Operations function including Visitor Services, HR, Staff Services and Facilities.
Ensure delivery of the Culture Company Strategy 2025–2030 and drive operational improvements.
Manage suppliers, contractors and cross-functional teams to deliver projects.
Maintain compliance, risk management and care for staff and visitors.
Foster collaboration across teams and ensure a high standard of service.
