Job summary

CPL Healthcare in Dublin is seeking an experienced Director of Operations to provide strategic, operational and clinical leadership across a group of nursing homes. The role reports to senior leadership and focuses on governance, quality, resident-centred care and regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will drive standard-setting, support local leadership, and act as a senior escalation point for operational and clinical matters, shaping the group's strategic direction.

Qualifications

• Active NMBI registration with no restrictions.
• At least three years’ senior-level experience in the running of nursing homes.
• A senior healthcare leader with strong nursing home operations experience.
• A confident clinical governance lead.
• An effective communicator.
• A proactive problem-solver and decision-maker.
• A values-led leader who can promote consistency, accountability, continuous improvement and person-centred care across multiple services.
• Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.
• Strong judgement, accountability and the ability to operate autonomously in a senior leadership role.
• Full, clean driving licence with no restrictions.

Director of Operations, Dublin

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly capable Director of Operations to provide strategic, operational and clinical leadership across their group of nursing homes. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for supporting safe, effective and consistent service delivery, ensuring strong governance, regulatory compliance and high standards of resident-centred care across the Group.

Reporting to senior leadership, the Director of Operations will work closely with Directors of Nursing, Assistant Directors of Nursing, the Board, Finance, Governance committees and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will act as a senior point of escalation for operational and clinical matters, provide group-wide oversight and support each nursing home in meeting regulatory, governance, financial, quality and risk-management obligations.
