Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead the Atlas Clusters Control Plane and Data Plane in Dublin, guiding teams of leads and engineers to deliver scalable backend systems and secure cloud integrations across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

You will partner with product management and senior leadership to shape roadmaps, drive execution, and foster an inclusive, high-performing culture in a hybrid Dublin environment.

Qualifications

• Has at least 5 years of people management experience.
• Has at least 8 years of professional software development experience.
• Led engineering teams that built and maintained large-scale systems.
• Experience collaborating across organization boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of leads and individual contributors to grow and deliver.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to build roadmaps and product offerings.
• Design, develop, and ship improvements to Atlas Clusters Control Plane and Data Plane.
• Ensure timely project execution with visibility to stakeholders.
