Job summary

2K is seeking a Director of Data Engineering to architect the data foundations powering its global ecosystem. You will lead the evolution of the data platform toward AI-augmented processing, partnering with Studio leads and executives to expand data engineering across the organization.

You will apply FinOps principles to ensure cost-effective, high-performing infrastructure and drive proactive data modeling and ML Ops capabilities to predict player needs and trends.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in data engineering or software engineering.
• Proven track record leading engineering teams in multi-title environments.
• Deep understanding of telemetry and event-driven architectures.

Responsibilities

• Architect a scalable data strategy across sports, core, and R&D titles.
• Advance AI-augmented data processing and proactive modeling.
• Own cloud infrastructure budget with rigorous FinOps practices.
• Define telemetry standards for high-signal, low-latency data capture.
• Build and lead a high-performing data engineering team.
