Job summary

Datadog in Dublin is seeking a Director of Enterprise Customer Success to hire and develop multiple teams, coaching managers and individual contributors to success. You will influence customer experience and retention of our largest strategic customers at scale.

This hybrid role emphasizes mentorship, cross-functional collaboration, and building a scalable CS organization that partners with Enterprise Sales to drive growth and renewals across our global client base.

Qualifications

• 3+ years overseeing a Customer Success or Account Management teams in SaaS
• 7+ years leading a high performing CS/AM team
• Proven track record negotiating contract terms and renewals
• Familiar with the B2B tech space or subscription software

Responsibilities

• Provide mentorship and guidance to your team of first line managers
• Facilitate the ramp up for all new team members, coaching them to success
• Enable your team to navigate a wide range of projects, working as a point of escalation
• Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholder departments to actualize on sales strategies, develop training curriculum, and meet hiring goals
• Oversee and build the Enterprise Customer Success department, ensuring we meet both the strategic and operational needs of our customers as we scale
• Strategically partner with Datadog leaders in Enterprise Sales to ensure alignment and growth across existing and new customers

As a Director, Enterprise Customer Success, you will hire and develop multiple teams, coaching first line managers and individual contributors to success. What You’ll Do

• Provide mentorship and guidance to your team of first line managers
• Facilitate the ramp up for all new team members, coaching them to success

Who You Are

• Experienced in Customer Success or Account Management with 3+ years overseeing a Customer Success or Account Management teams in the SaaS space
• Someone with 7+ years of experience overseeing a high performing team of Customer Success Managers
• Proven track record of success in negotiating contract terms and overcoming pricing objections for renewal and up-sell opportunities
• Familiar with the B2B tech space or with subscription based software preferred
