Job summary

Medtronic seeks a Product Director to shape the next generation of connected patient-care products. You will lead a portfolio spanning patient-facing apps, devices, embedded software, cloud services, and AI-enabled experiences, driving strategy and execution across a global, matrixed organization.

You will own discovery-to-launch, align stakeholders, and grow Galway as a hub for world-class product management talent within a regulated healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Honours Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 10 years in product management or equivalent.
• Experience owning product strategy, roadmaps, priorities, and investment decisions for complex products.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted tools in product management.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, outcome-based roadmaps, and measurable goals for connected patient-care products and platform capabilities.
• Translate patient, clinical, customer, technical, and business needs into prioritized opportunities for Engineering and Design.
• Own product outcomes across the lifecycle from discovery to launch readiness and lifecycle decisions.
• Lead cross-functional product development across mobile, embedded software, cloud, and data/AI domains.
• Balance patient safety, regulatory requirements, privacy, and cost with business value in decisions.
• Use research, analytics, and market insight to identify unmet needs and guide investment.
• Establish Galway as a durable product leadership center and develop PM talent.
