Job summary

Ibec seeks an experienced Director for Cloud Infrastructure Ireland (CII) to lead strategy and engagement with policymakers, industry leaders, and government officials. The role requires hands-on leadership, governance oversight, and strong media communication to advance Ireland’s data centre and energy policy agenda.

Qualifications

• Primary degree in business, politics, communications, economics, science, or equivalent.
• Postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
• Experience in policy, regulatory or industry engagement is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the CII work programme in line with the strategic vision.
• Engage with policymakers, media and stakeholders to raise profile.
• Oversee governance structures and member services.
• Lead on energy policy, grid connectivity and decarbonisation initiatives.
• Manage relationships with member companies and committees.
