Job summary

BNY Mellon in Dublin, Ireland, seeks a Director of Applied AI Product Manager to drive AI-enabled transformation across the EMEA Innovation team. You will identify opportunities, shape strategy, define MVPs, collaborate with designers and technical partners, and translate complex business problems into AI-enabled products, prototypes, and decision-support tools.

This role operates at the intersection of product, AI, data, engineering, risk, and business strategy, in small outcome-focused teams

Qualifications

• Significant experience in AI product management or digital product management across enterprise contexts.
• Strong understanding of generative AI, LLM-enabled systems, and AI-enabled product capabilities.
• Experience translating complex business problems into product strategies, roadmaps, and delivery plans.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering, data science, AI Hub, design, risk and business teams to shape practical solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management, executive communication, prioritisation, and delivery leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision, strategy and roadmap for AI-enabled transformation opportunities.
• Shape AI-enabled workflows, prototypes, and product solutions; determine automation vs augmentation vs human-led approaches.
• Lead cross-functional delivery from discovery to MVP, pilot, or handoff with measurable outcomes.
• Establish success metrics linked to productivity, efficiency, risk reduction, adoption and client experience.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across lines, communicate complex AI concepts clearly, and mentor teams.
