Job summary

E-Frontiers is seeking a Digital Transformation Manager to join its Estimating and Pre-Construction team in Dublin. You will drive AI, automation and digital initiatives across estimating, tendering and pre-construction, translating business needs into practical technology solutions.

You will collaborate with commercial, estimating, design, planning and IT stakeholders to improve efficiency, cost accuracy and decision-making across the project lifecycle, from discovery to benefits realisation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project management and digital transformation.
• Experience delivering tech initiatives from discovery to adoption.
• Understanding of AI, automation and data analytics.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Construction/estimating knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI and digital transformation projects across estimating, tendering and pre-construction.
• Review existing processes and pursue automation, standardisation and continuous improvement.
• Develop project scopes, business cases, and delivery plans.
• Identify practical AI applications across tender docs, cost data, benchmarking, reporting.
• Gather requirements and translate them into digital solutions.
• Coordinate evaluation, testing and implementation of new technologies.
• Drive adoption with training and stakeholder engagement.

The Opportunity

An established European data centre delivery and engineering organisation is seeking a Digital Transformation Manager to join its Estimating and Pre-Construction team.

This is an exciting opportunity to drive practical AI, automation and digital transformation initiatives across estimating, tendering and pre-construction activities. You will work closely with commercial, estimating, design, planning and IT stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and translate business requirements into effective technology solutions.

From initial discovery and business-case development through to implementation, adoption and benefits realisation, you will play a key role in improving operational efficiency, cost accuracy, consistency and decision-making across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead AI and digital transformation projects across estimating, tendering and pre-construction.
• Review existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation, standardisation and continuous improvement.
• Develop project scopes, business cases, delivery plans and implementation roadmaps.
• Identify and assess practical AI applications across tender documentation, cost data, benchmarking, document review and reporting.
• Work with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into practical digital solutions.
• Coordinate the evaluation, selection, testing and implementation of new technologies and digital tools.
• Drive the adoption of solutions, ensuring appropriate training, stakeholder engagement and change management.
• Manage project plans, risks, dependencies, budgets, stakeholders and delivery milestones.
• Define success measures and track the operational and commercial benefits of implemented solutions.
• Support continuous improvement through performance analysis, user feedback and ongoing optimisation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in project management, digital transformation, technology implementation or business change.
• Experience delivering technology or process improvement initiatives from discovery through to implementation and adoption.
• A good understanding of AI, automation, data analytics and emerging digital technologies, with the ability to identify practical business applications.
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills, with the ability to assess business cases and quantify potential benefits.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to engage both technical teams and business users.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business challenges into clear requirements and deliverable technology solutions.
• A structured approach to project delivery, risk management, problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Experience in construction, engineering, estimating, quantity surveying or pre-construction would be a significant advantage.
• Microsoft 365, Power BI, Power Automate and Microsoft Copilot.
• CostX, Buildsoft or other construction estimating and cost management platforms.
• AI-enabled document analysis, workflow automation, data benchmarking or reporting solutions.
• Process mapping, business analysis, change management and benefits realisation.
