Job summary

Certa Ireland, part of DCC Energy, is hiring a Digital Communications Executive to lead social media, email marketing, CRM and content strategy. You’ll own multi-channel campaigns and work closely with Marketing, E-commerce, Sales, Operations, HR and IT to engage customers and employees.

Location: Kilmacanogue, Co. Wicklow (Hybrid). You will help shape brand storytelling and drive growth through integrated communications across diverse channels.

About the Role

We want to make Certa the most exciting name in Irish energy. The Digital Communications Executive will be a key driver in our long-term growth ambitions, helping Certa to accelerate it’s brand reach, and customer engagement across digital touchpoints. In this role you will take full ownership of our social media presence, developing email marketing and automation journeys, and developing industry leading content for our digital platforms.

Working closely with the broader marketing & HR teams, this role ensures that all social, content and CRM activity is fully integrated and aligned with our strategic growth priorities.

Overview of the role

Certa is looking for a Digital Communications Executive to join our Marketing team and help manage and grow our digital communications across the business. Reporting to the E-commerce Manager, you'll work across social media, email marketing, CRM communications, content creation and internal communications, creating engaging content and campaigns that help us connect with customers and employees. You'll work closely with teams across Marketing, E-commerce, Sales, Operations, HR and IT, with plenty of opportunity to bring new ideas and improve how we communicate with our audiences.

Responsibilities

Social Media & Content

• Manage Certa's social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn
• Create and manage a multi-channel marketing and content calendar.
• Create, co-ordinate and publish engaging content across our digital channels.
• Work with teams across the business to find stories, campaigns and content opportunities.
• Drive increased engagement, follower growth and the level up the overall quality of our content.
• Keep up to date with new social media trends, formats and best practices.

Email Marketing & CRM

• Plan, create and manage email marketing campaigns
• Develop targeted campaigns to support customer acquisition, sales, retention and engagement
• Monitor campaign results and continually look for ways to improve email engagement and conversion rates
• Create automated customer journeys, connecting email marketing with our CRM and customer data
• Help build customer funnels and automated communications that support online sales, from initial engagement through to conversion and repeat purchase.
• Use segmentation, personalisation and testing to make our communications more relevant and effective.
• Develop customer onboarding flows to keep customers engaged & to support cross sales.

Internal Communications

• Help manage Certa's internal communications and employee engagement activity.
• Create clear, engaging content for internal channels.
• Work with teams across the business to turn information and updates into effective communications

Working Across the Business

• Work closely with Marketing and sales teams as well as relevant agencies to coordinate campaigns across different channels.
• Use data and analytics to understand what's working and identify opportunities to improve.
• Bring new ideas for content, campaigns and digital customer journeys.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in a digital communications, social media, digital marketing, content or similar role.

Required Skills

• Experience creating and managing a marketing/content calendar across multiple channels.
• Demonstratable experience managing and growing social media channels, ideally including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn.
• Experience creating and managing email marketing campaigns and understanding campaign performance.
• Experience with CRM, email marketing platforms or marketing automation would be an advantage. (Microsoft Dynamics a plus but not required)
• A track record of improving engagement, audience growth and content quality for a consumer facing brand.
• Comfortable working with different teams and managing multiple projects at once.
• Strong copywriting and communication skills with good attention to detail.
• A good understanding of digital marketing performance and conversion.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CRM, email marketing platforms or marketing automation would be an advantage. (Microsoft Dynamics a plus but not required)
