The Digital Marketing & Channels Executive will be responsible for managing and optimising Cairn's digital ecosystem across owned channels. Working as part of the Brand team, this role will lead the development, execution and performance of Cairn's digital marketing activities, ensuring a consistent, engaging and best-in-class online presence across all customer and stakeholder touchpoints.
The successful candidate will own Cairn's digital channels, including website, social media platforms, email marketing and digital brand assets. They will work closely with internal stakeholders, agency partners and external suppliers to deliver digital campaigns, enhance user experience, drive engagement and support broader business objectives.
This is a hands-on role requiring a combination of strategic thinking, technical expertise, strong project management skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Websites
- Own and maintain Cairn corporate website
- Coordinate website updates, content publishing and optimisation activities.
- Work with external agency partners to implement enhancements, resolve issues and improve performance.
- Ensure website content remains accurate, up to date and aligned with Cairn brand guidelines.
- Coordinate SEO activity with external agency partners.
- Monitor website search performance and recommend improvements.
Corporate Social Media and Community Management
- Manage Cairn's corporate social media channels.
- Coordinate content planning and publishing with agency partners and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor channel performance and engagement.
- Ensure all social media activity is aligned with Cairn's brand standards and communications objectives.
- Own community management across Cairn's social media channels.
- Monitor and respond to enquiries and direct messages in line with agreed processes.
- Escalate customer, media and reputational issues where required.
D365 Email Marketing and Automation
- Manage email communications, forms, segments and customer journeys within Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Support event communications, registrations and stakeholder engagement campaigns.
- Ensure email activity complies with GDPR and digital marketing best practice.
Paid Digital Campaign Coordination and Reporting
- Coordinate digital campaign delivery with agency partners and internal stakeholders.
- Review campaign performance across relevant digital channels.
- Provide reporting and recommendations to support campaign optimisation.
Digital Brand Governance
- Maintain and manage Cairn's digital asset library.
- Ensure brand consistency across all digital channels.
- Support teams across the business with access to approved digital assets, templates and brand resources.
- Maintain governance standards for digital content and channels.
Brand Asset & Platform Administration
- Manage Cairn's digital asset library and shared brand resources.
- Ensure employees have access to current brand assets, templates and approved materials.
- Maintain ownership of digital marketing administration processes and documentation.
- Support procurement, budget tracking, purchase orders and other administrative requirements related to digital marketing activities.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a digital marketing or digital communications role.
- Experience managing websites, social media channels and email marketing campaigns.
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar CRM and email marketing platforms.
- Strong understanding of digital analytics and reporting.
- Experience working with external agencies and suppliers.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Eligible to work in Ireland.
- Degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Communications, Business or a related discipline.
- Professional qualification in digital marketing or analytics.
- Experience working with website CMS platforms.
- Experience using Google Analytics or similar reporting platforms.
- Experience working within a corporate, property, construction or professional services environment.
