Job summary

Sembcorp Development Ltd. in Ireland seeks a Manager, Project Design to lead design development for industrial, commercial, and mixed-use developments from concept to construction, ensuring functional, cost-effective, and sustainable designs aligned with business objectives.

You will coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders, manage design consultants, review progress, and support tendering and construction coordination while travelling regionally as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related discipline; professional registration advantageous.
• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in architectural design, design management, or development management.
• Experience managing projects through full development lifecycle (concept to completion).
• Experience with overseas development projects (Vietnam) is a plus.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, BIM (Revit), Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and develop design solutions for industrial, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
• Prepare scopes of work and manage external design consultants.
• Support tender documentation, technical specifications, and submissions.
• Coordinate with project management and site teams to resolve design issues during construction.
• Review design changes and value engineering to balance quality and cost.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across development, investment, leasing, operations, and engineering.
