Job summary

BMS Performance Ireland in Co. Louth is seeking a Design Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team of 11 engineering and design professionals across mechanical, electrical and BIM disciplines, delivering projects to specification and on schedule.

You will act as the key engineering contact for customers, manage design output, handle changes and variations, and coordinate with internal manufacturing and project teams.

Qualifications

Location: Co. Louth | Full-Time | Permanent

Salary: €80,000 - €100,000 DOE + Healthcare + Pension

THE ROLE:

As Design Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary team across mechanical, electrical and BIM disciplines, ensuring projects are delivered to specification, on schedule and in line with customer expectations.

You will act as the key point of contact for customers throughout project delivery, managing design output, technical requirements, changes and variations while coordinating closely with internal engineering, manufacturing and project teams.

THE PERSON:

Ideally, you will have experience leading engineering or design teams within manufacturing, fabrication, modular construction, offsite construction or building services environments.

This role would suit candidates from engineering manufacturers, specialist fabricators, modular construction businesses or M&E contractors with experience delivering industrial, infrastructure or mission-critical projects.
