Job summary

Falcon Green is seeking an experienced Design Manager for high-value residential and commercial construction projects in Ireland. The role involves leading multidisciplinary design teams and overseeing the technical management of building projects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in design management, with strong communication skills, and a degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture. Postgraduate qualifications or professional institute membership are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and coordinating multidisciplinary design teams across large-scale construction projects.
• Responsible for the technical management of the building project.
• Capable of managing multidisciplinary teams, experienced in dealing with design team and other third parties and have excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• The ability to work to deadlines and an appreciation for health and safety, quality, programme and commercial return.
• Candidates should have a degree level qualification in engineering, construction management, architecture or related subject, while post graduate qualifications and/or membership of a relevant professional institute such as Engineers Ireland is desirable.

Ideal candidates will come from main contracting or developer background and have worked on large residential apartments / commercial projects up to €50M+ build value
