Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Design Coordinator for a Tier 1 Main Contractor to work on a prestigious residential project in South Dublin. The role reports to the Design Manager on site and involves coordinating design information with consultants and subcontractors.

The successful candidate will have a degree relevant to design/co-ordination, residential experience, strong organisational and communication skills, and will support CDM and health and safety input at design stage.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Building Services, Civil/Structural Engineering or related discipline (or working towards).
• Experience coordinating design on residential developments.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the flow of design information between consultants, subcontractors and the construction team.
• Monitor and track design information releases, flagging any gaps or delays to the Design Manager.
• Check design information for discrepancies against specification and project drawings.
• Assist in organising and minuting design team and client meetings.
• Provide administrative and coordination support to the Design Manager on a high-profile residential project.
• Support CDM and Health and Safety input at design stage.

Our client is specifically looking for a Design Coordinator with a residential background to support the design process on this high-profile scheme. The successful Design Coordinator will report to the Design Manager on site.
