Job summary

E-Frontiers in Ireland is seeking a Design Coordinator to join our growing project delivery team on large-scale building projects. You will coordinate design information between clients, consultants, subcontractors and the construction team to ensure deliverables are issued on schedule.

The role requires a degree in engineering or related field, strong coordination and communication skills, and proficiency with design documentation; BIM/Revit experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree or qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related discipline.
• Experience in a Design Coordinator or similar technical coordination role.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common construction management software.
• Experience with BIM/Revit would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design activities across multiple disciplines throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage the flow of design information between consultants, subcontractors and site teams.
• Monitor design programmes and ensure key milestones are achieved.
• Review drawings and technical documentation for completeness and buildability.
• Identify design clashes and coordinate resolutions with relevant stakeholders.
• Support the procurement and construction teams with technical information.
• Attend design coordination meetings and maintain accurate records of actions.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, building regulations and quality standards.
• Assist with design change management and document control processes.
