Job summary

PGIM Ireland is seeking a detail‑oriented Derivative Operations Analyst to support day‑to‑day post‑trade activities for derivatives including swaps, futures, options, and FX instruments. Based in Lettekrenny with on‑site work two days a week, you will validate trades, monitor confirmations and settlements, and support reconciliation and collateral workflows.

You will work with internal teams, custodians, clearing brokers and counterparties to resolve routine issues, maintain accurate records

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related discipline preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in financial services, investment operations, trade support, settlements, or related operations.

Responsibilities

• Support daily post-trade processing for derivative products, including validations, confirmations, settlements, clearing, and lifecycle events.
• Maintain derivative trade activity in Aladdin and related platforms for accurate books and records.
• Monitor collateral movements, margin activity, and related payment workflows.
• Perform daily reconciliations with brokers, custodians, and internal systems to identify and escalate breaks.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to research and resolve routine operational issues.
• Follow procedures, complete checklists, and support audit, risk management, and control activities.
• Prepare recurring operational reporting related to derivative activity and processing metrics.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency by eliminating manual tasks.
