Job summary

Woodie's in Naas is seeking a Deputy Manager for the Naas Road store to lead a dynamic team and grow the business on a permanent basis. You will develop colleagues, align with business targets, and drive excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will have retail management experience in a fast-paced environment, a track record of developing teams, and a commitment to diversity of thought and inclusive leadership. This role is full-time with a 39-hour week and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service by mentoring and coaching the in-store team.
• Effectively communicate goals and objectives to the team.
• Identify local business opportunities.
• Responsible for cash and stock control.
• Authorise and handle refunds and exchanges.
• Inspire and embrace change to achieve better results.
• Seek to improve systems and process efficiencies.
• Managing performance of the team.
• Support talent and succession planning through development reviews.
• Follow health and safety regulations to maintain safe environment.
• Collaborate with horticulturists to deliver garden centre excellence.
• Work with Kitchen Design Consultants to enhance customer experience.
• Support store management with payroll and headcount budgets.
