Job summary

Sunbeam House Services in Bray/Kilcoole area is seeking a Deputy Service Manager to lead our Day Services teams and support HIQA-compliant delivery of person-centred supports.

You will work with the PIC, oversee quality and safeguarding, develop staff, and promote a positive, values-led culture within North County Wicklow.

This role is ideal for an experienced Social Care professional ready to move into management and drive service improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year's supervisory, shift lead or team leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of HIQA regulations, safeguarding and person-centred practice
• Excellent communication, organisation and people management skills
• A positive, solution-focused and values-led approach
• Full manual driving licence and access to a car

Sunbeam House Services is seeking a Deputy Service Manager to support the leadership and development of our Day Services.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Care Worker, Shift Leader, Team Leader, or Senior Support Worker looking to progress into a rewarding management role.

Le Cheile, Soairse and Sonas provide care for adults who have complex needs and severe/profound disability. We support our clients to live active, healthy and fulfilling lives by helping them achieve meaningful goals both within the service and in the community.

About the Role

As Deputy Service Manager, you'll work closely with the Person in Charge (PIC) to support the day-to-day operation of the service, ensuring high-quality supports are delivered in line with HIQA standards, safeguarding requirements and Sunbeam House Services values. You'll help lead teams, support staff development, oversee quality and compliance processes, and champion person-centred practice throughout the service.
