Job summary

Maxi Zoo Ireland, part of the Fressnapf Group, is recruiting a Deputy Manager for our Waterford store. You will support the Store Manager to drive store performance, lead the team with warmth, and ensure a welcoming environment for customers and pets.

You will implement store processes, optimise KPIs, manage merchandising, and uphold our commitment to animal welfare. This role offers opportunities for progression within Ireland's largest pet retailer and a collaborative, passion-driven team.

Qualifications

• Experienced retail professional with deputy management experience.
• Able to lead with warmth and empathy, in the manager's absence.
• Growth mindset with ambition to become a store manager.
• Customer service passion and strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure store processes, regulations and KPIs are met while supporting the Store Manager.
• Engage customers with personalised advice and maintain a welcoming store.
• Empower the team through training and supportive leadership.
• Maintain stock levels with accurate planograms and inventory control.
• Uphold brand integrity and animal welfare standards.

• Operational Store Excellence-Ensure adherence to store processes, regulations, and KPIs while supporting the Store Manager in analysing and improving results.


• Customer Engagement- Ensure your team enrich customers' experiences with personalised advice and uphold a welcoming, tidy store atmosphere.


• Leadership- Empower your team's growth and engagement through supportive leadership, training, and a culture of trust and respect.


• Merchandising and Inventory- Ensure impeccably stocked shelves, use of correct planograms, ensuring accurate inventory management.


• Brand Integrity -Ensuring that the animals entrusted to us are well cared for at all times, and that the welfare of the animal comes first. Maxi Zoo Ireland advocates responsible pet ownership.
