Job summary

The role involves strategy development, independent assurance delivery, and cross-functional process improvements in finance, operations, and IT. Some travel may be required; a professional qualification is essential.

Qualifications

• Progressive audit experience at senior manager level or above.
• Significant leadership experience in industry or professional services.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACA, CIA, or RA.
• Advanced understanding of risk, governance, compliance and controls.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Experience leading and mentoring a diverse high-performing team.
• Solid project management and cross-functional collaboration experience.
• Experience reporting to senior management and working with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of the annual audit plan through risk assessment and stakeholder engagement.
• Shape IA strategy and oversee delivery of major projects to meet objectives.
• Direct and coach a 10+ auditor team to ensure high performance.
• Provide recommendations to enhance controls while balancing business needs.
• Assess internal control environments and ensure effective corrective actions.
• Engage with senior management and external partners as needed.
• Report key metrics and leverage technology to improve efficiency.
