Life Science Recruitment is assisting a large consultancy as it seeks a Dental Consultant Manager/Senior Manager to join its Business Consulting Transformation Delivery team in a hybrid Dublin role.

The candidate must be a qualified dentist with experience practicing within the Irish health system and possess 5–8 years of PM experience delivering major transformation projects. Immediate availability is preferred.

Dental Consultant Manager/ Senior Manager Business Consulting

Our client, a large consultancy organisation, are currently recruiting for a Dentist to join their Business Consulting Transformation Delivery team on a permanent basis. Candidates at Manager or Senior Manager level will be considered for this opportunity. This is a hybrid role with a requirement to be in Dublin one day per week. Experience working as a Dentist in the Irish healthcare system is essential for this role and ideally you will be immediately available.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and deliver large-scale transformation programmes and projects to time, cost and quality
• Lead the delivery of major project and programme activities, including business process design, testing and end user training involving multiple cross functional stakeholders
• Build valued relationships with external clients and internal peers and develop a portfolio of business by focusing on high impact opportunities
• Act as a subject matter, leverage your knowledge and experience to shape services for clients
• Lead presentations and proposals for medium to high complex projects and providing subject matter insight to bids and proposals in relevant areas
• Create innovative commercial insights for clients, adapt methods and practices to fit operational team and cultural needs, and contribute to thought leadership
• Drive improvements by taking responsibility for engagement / account level Quality & Risk Management (QRM) initiatives, ensuring that project teams understand and comply with requirements

Requirements:

• A degree in Dentistry
• Experience working in as a Dentist in the Irish healthcare system
• 5-8 years of Project Management experience of managing and delivering large-scale projects, and transformation programmes, including project planning and monitoring, resource management (including project finances), benefits realisation, etc
• Ideal candidates will have multidisciplinary experience including project management, business process design, testing the solution and end user training
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with a track record in managing complex stakeholder programmes
• Good understanding of project governance and change management principles
• Additional professional qualifications, such as PRINCE2® or PMP, are desirable
• Additional areas of interest include: process improvement, agile methodologies, and business case development
