Job summary

AllPro Recruitment is assisting a public health client in Dublin to hire a Dental Nurse to join their dental team. You will support clinicians, provide chairside assistance, and help create a safe, welcoming environment for patients.

The role emphasizes teamwork, patient care, and efficient clinic operation. A recognised Dental Nursing qualification is required, with two years of dental nursing experience preferred; radiography training is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Qualified as a Dental Nurse with a recognised qualification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Radiography qualification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance during dental examinations and treatments.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments and materials ahead of appointments.
• Clean, sterilise and maintain dental instruments per infection control procedures.
• Support and reassure patients throughout appointments.
• Maintain patient records and assist with appointment administration.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth clinic operation.
• Adhere to confidentiality, health and safety and infection control policies.
