AllPro Recruitment is assisting a public health client in Dublin to hire a Dental Nurse to join their dental team. You will support clinicians, provide chairside assistance, and help create a safe, welcoming environment for patients.

The role emphasizes teamwork, patient care, and efficient clinic operation. A recognised Dental Nursing qualification is required, with two years of dental nursing experience preferred; radiography training is a bonus.

• Qualified as a Dental Nurse with a recognised qualification.

• Radiography qualification is advantageous.

Responsabilités

On behalf of our client in public health, AllPro Recruitment are now seeking a Dental Nurse to join their dental team.

The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality dental care, assisting clinicians during procedures and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for patients.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance during dental examinations and treatments.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments and materials ahead of appointments.
• Clean, sterilise and maintain dental instruments in line with infection prevention and control procedures.
• Support and reassure patients throughout their appointments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with appointment administration.
• Work closely with the dental team to support the smooth running of clinics.
• Follow confidentiality, health and safety, and infection control procedures.

Requirements

• A recognised Dental Nursing qualification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a caring, patient-focused approach.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A dental radiography/radiology qualification would be an advantage but is not essential.

Experience:

• Dental nursing: 2 years (preferred)
