Job summary

nineDots.io is seeking an experienced Delivery Lead / Project Manager to own end-to-end software delivery for financial services clients, coordinating Product, Engineering and senior stakeholders.

You'll manage budgets, sprint plans, risks and dependencies while delivering client-facing implementations and internal projects across Ireland, the UK and beyond, with occasional time-zone coordination.

A background in Agile Scrum and 5+ years of delivery experience, plus PM certification, is preferred.

This company builds software for the financial services industry, working with large financial institutions on complex technology projects.

They’re looking for an experienced Delivery Lead / Project Manager who can take proper ownership of those projects from planning right through to release.

There are a lot of moving parts. You'll be coordinating client teams, Product, Engineering and senior stakeholders, while managing scope, budgets, risks and delivery plans.

They need someone who understands software delivery properly, rather than someone who's purely worked in a traditional project environment.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

You'll lead both client-facing software implementations and internal projects.

That includes:

• Owning project delivery plans and budgets
• Coordinating internal and client-side teams
• Working closely with Product and Engineering
• Managing sprint plans and software releases
• Managing scope changes, risks, issues and dependencies
• Keeping senior stakeholders clear on where projects stand

The team works globally, including across Ireland, the UK and Australia, so there will be some flexibility needed around working hours to accommodate handovers and meetings across time zones.
