Job summary

Accenture UK & Ireland in Dublin is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technical delivery across the full project lifecycle.

You will gather and document requirements, support solution design, facilitate workshops, and maintain artefacts such as user stories and acceptance criteria using Azure DevOps or Jira.

The role requires 4–6 years in BA, strong communication, and ability to work across Agile, Waterfall or hybrid teams.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of BA experience in technology delivery.
• Experience gathering, analysing, and managing requirements.
• Proven ability to create user stories, acceptance criteria, and traceability.
• Liaison between business and tech delivery teams.
• Strong SDLC and Agile/Waterfall or hybrid delivery knowledge.
• Proficient with Azure DevOps or Jira for requirements and defects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritise business and data requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions.
• Create artefacts: user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps.
• Translate requirements into actionable solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Support design and identify process improvements.
• Maintain requirements, user stories, defects, and delivery progress in Azure DevOps/Jira.
• Support Agile delivery activities including backlog refinement and sprint planning.
• Act as liaison between business and technology teams.
• Support testing activities: SIT and UAT, defect triage.
• Communicate risks, impacts, and recommendations clearly.
• Handle deployment readiness and post-implementation improvements.
• Manage risks, dependencies, issues, scope changes.
