Job summary

Centra Waterville is seeking a friendly deli assistant to prepare high quality hot and cold deli products and help ensure customer satisfaction.

You will work in a fast-paced, team-based environment, maintain high display standards, share recipe tips with customers and help with in-store service from morning to evening shifts. Previous experience in deli/catering is an advantage; part-time or full-time roles available with a mix of morning (6AM–2PM) and evening (2PM–10PM) shifts.

Qualifications

• HACCP training is desirable but not necessary.
• Previous customer service experience is an advantage.
• The ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, ability to multi task under pressure.
• A passion for food and the ability to inspire shoppers.

• Actively live Centra brand-values i.e. Proud, Energetic, Imaginative and Community-Based
• Prepare customer orders across all fresh food areas i.e. make sandwiches and rolls, dish up hot food and slice meats using the store`sportion control measures
• Cook, prepare and display the foods sold throughout the day
• Ensure that the counter displays across all fresh food departments are to the highest standards at all times throughout the day
• Demonstrate your passion for quality food by sharing knowledge, recipes and personal recommendations with customers
• Deal with all customer queries efficiently, professionally and in line with store policy.

About the locality:

Part time or full time positions available.Previous experience in deli/catering would be an advantage. This position will require a successful candidate to work mixture of morning (6AM TO 2PM) AND evening shifts (2PM TO 10PM)
