Job summary

Centra in Ireland is seeking a dedicated deli assistant to prepare high quality hot and cold deli products and ensure customer satisfaction remains the top priority. You will work as part of a team in a fast-paced store, make sandwiches and rolls, dish up hot foods, slice meats, and maintain the highest display standards.

The role includes rotating morning (6 AM–2 PM) and evening (2 PM–10 PM) shifts; HACCP training is desirable but not essential, and previous customer service experience is an

• Prepare customer orders across all fresh food areas i.e. make sandwiches and rolls, dish up hot food and slice meats using the store`sportion control measures
• Cook, prepare and display the foods sold throughout the day
• Ensure that the counter displays across all fresh food departments are to the highest standards at all times throughout the day
• Demonstrate your passion for quality food by sharing knowledge, recipes and personal recommendations with customers
• Deal with all customer queries efficiently, professionally and in line with store policy.

About the locality:

Part time or full time positions available.Previous experience in deli/catering would be an advantage. This position will require a successful candidate to work mixture of morning (6AM TO 2PM) AND evening shifts (2PM TO 10PM)
