Pelco Group in Blanchardstown, Dublin is seeking a friendly Deli Assistant to join our team.

You will work with the Site Management and team to deliver quality food and outstanding customer service. Experience in deli and passion for food is welcome.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year's deli experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient day-to-day running of the deli unit.
• Maintain merchandising, presentation and customer care.
• Achieve sales, margins and wastage targets.
• Implement HACCP food safety management system.
• Maintain on-site Health and Safety standards.
• Ensure cleanliness of the deli area.
• Oversee opening/closing of the deli.
• Deal with site visits from internal and external sources.

We are looking for a Deli Assistant to join our team in the Blanchardstown store.

Role purpose:

To work collaboratively with the Site Management team and other Team Members to help drive the Deli and ensure the delivery of excellent customer service and quality food produce.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

As a Deli Team Member you will be required to assume additional responsibility in all areas of the Deli operation, as the business needs require, this includes:

Job Role Specifics:

• Ensure and take responsibility for the efficient day-to-day running of deli unit
• Ensure that the deli reflects company's standards of merchandising, presentation and Customer Care
• Achieve sales, margins, wastage targets
• Implement the HACCP food safety management system
• Maintain Health and Safety standards on site, as per the Company Handbook and Safety Statement.
• Ensure the cleanliness and appearance of the deli area
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety issues and legislation regarding the sale of all food items
• Competently deal with site visits from internal and external sources
• Supervise opening/closing of the deli.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Minimum 1 years' deli experience;
