Job summary

Centra in Dunmanway, West Cork, is looking for a Deli Assistant to join our morning team. You will prepare hot and cold deli items, serve customers, and maintain quality and freshness throughout the day.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, customer service experience, and the ability to work as part of a busy team in a fast-paced environment.

HACCP training is desirable but not required, and full-time hours are available with a supportive store culture.

Responsibilities

• Share knowledge, recipes and recommendations with customers to demonstrate passion for quality food.
• Handle customer queries efficiently, professionally and in line with store policy.

Main purpose of the role: Responsible for the preparation of high quality hot and cold deli products and for ensuring customer satisfaction is the number one priority.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have/be

• HACCP training is desirable but not necessary
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous customer service experience is an advantage
• The ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, ability to multi task under pressure
• A passion for food and the ability to inspire shoppers.

Main duties

About The Locality

This role is primarily a morning role Monday to Friday which could be suited to someone coming from a hospitality background.
