Job summary

Centra in Cork is recruiting a Deli Assistant to join our fast-paced fresh foods team. You will prepare hot and cold deli items, make sandwiches, slice meats, and dish up hot foods to order, while ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.

You will work with fresh displays, maintain high standards, and share knowledge, recipes and recommendations with customers to inspire shoppers. HACCP training is desirable; customer service experience is an advantage; you will thrive in a team and handle

Qualifications

• HACCP training is desirable but not necessary.
• Previous customer service experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, ability to multi task under pressure.
• A passion for food and the ability to inspire shoppers.

• Deal with customer queries efficiently, professionally and in line with store policy.

Responsible for the preparation of high quality hot and cold deli products and for ensuring customer satisfaction is the number one priority.

The ideal candidate will have/be:
