Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. in Limerick, Ireland, seeks an experienced defect integration engineer to join our expanding Wafer Fab team. You will own defect reduction initiatives across layers, drive yield improvements, and deploy robust fixes to prevent recurrence.

In this role, you will perform root-cause analysis, apply SPC techniques, and collaborate with process, equipment, product, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve issues quickly and sustain gains.

Qualifications

• Investigate complex technical challenges to identify root causes of defects or yield loss.
• Strong analytical skills with creative problem solving and critical thinking.
• Excellent data analysis using Klarity Defect, SAS, JMP, ACE for large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Drive defect reduction/yield improvement projects for your layers.
• Use SPC to monitor and control inline defects throughout the product lifecycle.
• Excursion detection, fast response and containment, and prevention.
• Inspection recipe maintenance and improvement for low nuisance detection and high capture rate of defects.
