Job summary

Arthur Cox LLP's Debt Finance Group seeks a Debt Finance Associate with 2-4 PQE to work on loan and security transactions across acquisition/leveraged finance, investment‑grade and syndicated lending, and real estate finance.

You will draft, negotiate and manage closings, conduct due diligence, and support client relationships and business development. The role offers growth and cross‑border exposure with mentorship and structured training.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with 2–4 years PQE in banking/finance.
• Strong analytical, technical, and drafting abilities.
• Commercial awareness and ability to work under time pressure.
• Confident communicator with clients, counsel, and internal stakeholders.
• Familiarity with LMA documentation and Irish security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Advise on Irish law aspects of acquisition/leveraged finance, ABL, and real estate finance.
• Draft, negotiate, and manage finance documents and security documents.
• Lead due diligence on borrower groups and collateral packages.
• Own CP and closing workstreams; coordinate signings and funding; CRO filings.
• Collaborate with cross‑departmental teams and contribute to business development.
• Ensure compliance with confidentiality, privilege, data protection, AML/KYC.
