Job summary

Marks Sattin in Dublin is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager to lead and own debt advisory mandates for corporates, PE-backed businesses and investors. You will guide financing options, capital structures and debt solutions while coordinating with banks and other advisers.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in leveraged finance, structured finance, debt advisory or similar financing environment.
• Experience within investment banks, commercial banks, private credit/debt funds or advisory firms.
• Strong understanding of debt structuring, credit analysis and capital structures.
• Excellent financial modelling and analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Leading debt advisory mandates and acting as the key client contact through the process.

Manager and Senior Manager – Debt Advisory

An established advisory firm is looking to add a Manager and Senior Manager to its growing Debt Advisory team in Dublin. The team advises corporates, private equity investors and management teams on a broad range of financing and capital structure situations.

This is an excellent opportunity to transition from a banking environment into advisory.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading debt advisory mandates and acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout the process
• Advising corporates and private equity-backed businesses on financing options, capital structures and debt solutions
• Managing transaction processes involving banks, private credit providers, investors, lawyers and other advisors
• Developing financial models, analysing forecasts, assessing scenarios and reviewing covenant requirements
• Supporting the negotiation of commercial financing terms and term sheets
• Undertaking company, sector and market analysis to support both live transactions and new business opportunities

We're particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate:

• Strong experience in leveraged finance, structured finance, debt advisory or a similar financing environment
• Experience gained within an investment bank, commercial bank, private credit/debt fund, advisory firm or related financial institutions
• Strong understanding of debt structuring, credit analysis and capital structures
• Excellent financial modelling and analytical capabilities
