Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Ireland is seeking a Functional Support & Key Worker to join our values-driven, collaborative team in Castleknock, Dublin 15. The role focuses on implementing New Directions within Day Service, maintaining Easi-Tool records, and delivering person-centered support to service users, with collaboration across the programme team and partners.

Ideal candidates will have a relevant social care qualification, strong organisational skills, and a compassionate approach

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in social care, education, disability, or related field.
• Knowledge of disability legislation, GDPR, and accessibility practices.
• Strong organisational and time management with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Experience with safeguarding and duty of care.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with Day Service Manager to ensure safe, person centred daily operations.
• Work directly with service users to achieve PCP goals.
• Assist service members with daily activities and personal care.
• Maintain and update Easi-Tool and related documentation.
• Develop and review Person-Centred Plans with staff and management.
• Provide administrative support for HSE Day Opportunities reporting.
• Identify safeguarding concerns and report per SBHI policies.
• Support service users in daily activities, tasks, and community participation.
• Attend meetings, training, and supervision sessions.
