Job summary

Autism A Chara requires a Facilitator for a day service in Celbridge, Co. Kildare. 20 hours per week on a rota basis.

A QQI Level 5 Health Care qualification is essential, with a passion for person-centred support and community engagement. A full manual driving licence is required to operate service vehicles. Qualifications

• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Awareness of Key Worker/Support Worker role and philosophy for people with complex needs.
• Programme planning using Person Centred Plans.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Full, clean driver’s licence (manual) essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to people with complex needs.
• Assist with daily living activities and routines including personal care.
• Support engagement in the community and learning new skills.
