Job summary
Autism A Chara invites applications for Facilitator – Community Support Service in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin. 39 hours per week.
The role requires a QQI Level 5 Health/Care credential, awareness of the Key Worker/Support Worker approach, and ability to plan Person Centred Plans. A full, clean Irish driving licence and permission to work in Ireland are essential. Qualifications
- A full QQI Level 5 major award in Health/Care is essential.
- Aware of Key Worker/Support Worker role and philosophy for complex needs.
- Ability to plan programmes and Person Centred Plans.
- Availability to work shifts on a rota basis.
- Full, clean Irish driving licence with vehicle driving requirement.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Support individuals with daily living activities in community settings.
- Engage and enable people to participate in community activities.
- Assist with personal care when needed and promote independence.
- Promote rights and informed choices in decision making.
